Galeria Pomorska - Food Court

Completion Date: November 2011

Client: Balmain

Sector: Retail

Project Team: Chris Corner, Steve Hetherington

Colman Architects was appointed to create an extension and refurbishment to the existing food court within the Galeria Pomorska, Bydgoszcz, Poland.

The extension increased the food court covers from 212 to 320.

The redesign of the Galeria Pomorska, the largest shopping centre in the city of Bydgoszcz in northern Poland, was the result of a complete 3D asset management review of the 400,000 sq./ft retail and leisure scheme.

Working with Balmain Asset Management, Colman Architects developed a long-term, strategic masterplan for the scheme, which included a major extension as well as internal reorganisation designed to enhance the performance of the centre by improving circulation and creating new retail space.
